about

Patrick Molloy’s 2020 RPM Challenge album is releasing him as he releases it.

“Set Them Free” is a collection of songs unchaining Molloy from pain and embracing the strength and vulnerability that sits there afterwards - as a gift. There are songs that help process the loss of loved ones and more importantly - celebrate their memories. There’s the letting go of trauma and re-integrating those experiences into a new ever growing person who is living a perfectly content existence.

Underlying the albums heaviness is a light and airy expression of love and playfulness towards parenthood, being with the one you love...and loving yourself. Songs of finding joy in nature and accepting all the power and growth it can provide by just being in it.

This album is setting Molloy free from questions of whether or not he has a place in a scene he once belonged to. Rather, he has immersed himself into the creative process for the sake of it. To rediscover himself as a person, as a father, as a husband and as an artist.
